Dr. Rory Sie is an assistant professor at the Open Universiteit in the Netherlands (OUNL). Following his background in artificial intelligence, his main focus is on how we can use social network analysis and game theoretic solution concepts to foster successful cooperation. Other interests include recommender systems, creativity, innovation, and HRM.

Peter B. Sloep
Dr. Peter B. Sloep is a professor of Technology Enhanced Learning at the Centre for Learning Sciences and Technologies at the Open University of the Netherlands, where he directs the Research and Technology Development Programme on Learning Networks. His current research focusses on learning and professional development in networked, online environments, so-called learning networks. Of particular interest are the social affordances and their technical implementation in services - including specifications for interoperability - that make learning in such an environment effective, efficient, enjoyable and sustainable. Dr. Sloep is a reviewer of several journals on Technology Enhanced Learning. He also chairs the Dutch standards body's (NEN) committee on learning technologies. Over the years, he has built up extensive project management experience with a variety of internally, nationally and internationally funded projects. Most recently, has been involved in the FP6 projects Cooper (STREP), and TENCompetence (IP). He coordinates the FP 7 idSpace project (STREP) on distributed, collaborative product innovation.
Dr. Marlies Bitter-Rijpkema works as assistant professor at CELSTEC, OUNL. Her research revolves around collaborative creativity support for academic and professional self-organized networks, knowledge sharing in social and open innovation and business models for open education. She currently directs the design teams realizing learning networks for librarians and the new academic professionalization programme the "Library School".
