Wolfgang Balzer (1947, professor emeritus) worked in the former institute of philosophy, logics and philosophy of science, at the University of Munich. He investigates structural aspects of theories. Now he works in the Munich Simulation Group implementing social simulations.
I graduated from the Ludwig-Maximilians University in Munich on structuralist theory of science and modeling methods of Artificial Intelligence. Then I was Scholar at the Institute for Advanced Studies, worked in Vienna, as assistant professor at the Universities of Munich and Leipzig , and then as an editor at IT and Internet trade magazines. Today I am living as a freelance writer in Munich.
