Alan Baker is an Associate Professor in the Department of Philosophy at Swarthmore College. He received his PhD in Philosophy from Princeton University in 1999. His main areas of research lie in philosophy of science and in philosophy of mathematics. In 2008, he received a 'New Directions' Fellowship from the Andrew W.
