Mark Altaweel
Dr. Altaweel is a Fellow at the Computation Institute in the University of Chicago, a Visiting Professor at the University of Alaska, and a Computational Social Scientist at Argonne National Laboratory. His main research interests include societal use of natural resources, decision making under conditions of evolving human and environmental systems, and complex adaptive systems theory.

Lilian N. Alessa
Dr. Alessa is an Associate Professor of Biology at the University of Alaska Anchorage whose research interest focuses on societal use of water systems and complex adaptive systems problems. She is the group leader of the Resilience and Adaptive Management Group at the University of Alaska Anchorage and has affiliate appointments at the University of Alaska's Water and Environmental Research Center and Arizona State University's Center for Social Dynamics and Complexity.

Andrew D. Kliskey
Dr. Kliskey is an Associate Professor in Biology and Geography and Environmental Studies at the University of Alaska Anchorage. His research interests include understanding community responses and adaptation to social and environmental change in the Arctic. Dr. Kliskey is the co-leader of the Resilience and Adaptive Management Group at the University of Alaska Anchorage.
