Stuart Rossiter

Stuart Rossiter worked in commercial IT for 10 years as a software developer and architect. He returned to academia in 2003, completing an MSc in Multidisciplinary Informatics from the University of Leeds, and is currently working towards a PhD at the University of Strathyclyde. His research interests currently focus on the social simulation of electricity markets and expansion strategies for generators. More generally, he is interested in ideological, methodological and software engineering aspects of complex systems simulation.

Jason Noble

Jason Noble received his doctorate in cognitive and computing sciences from the University of Sussex in 1999. After stays at the Max Planck Institute for Human Development in Berlin, and at the University of Leeds, he is now a research fellow in the Science and Engineering of Natural Systems group, part of the School of Electronics and Computer Science at the University of Southampton. He works on computational models of the evolution of social behaviour, particularly communication and social learning.

Keith R.W. Bell

Keith Bell is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Electronic and Electrical Engineering at the University of Strathclyde in Glasgow. He graduated with a BEng (Hons) and PhD in electrical engineering from the University of Bath in 1990 and 1995 respectively. Between 1998 and when he joined Strathclyde in 2005, Keith worked with National Grid in Warwick, England. Keith is a member of CIGRE Study Committee C1 on System Development and Economics and of the IET Power Academy Council. His research interests include power system planning and operation, electricity markets, regulation and grid integration of renewables. He is a Member of the IET and a Chartered Engineer.
