Juliette Rouchier

Juliette Rouchier is a researcher at GREQAM, CNRS, in Marseille, France in Alan Kirman's team. She got her PhD after working at CIRAD, Montpellier, France, under the supervision of François Bousquet. She then worked for two years with Scott Moss at CPM, Manchester, UK, where she participated in the FIRMA project. Her present interest is the representation of bounded rationality for agents interacting on markets. This implies to mix studies of empirical data and production of artificial markets using Agent-Based simulations, which naturally leads to the participation to the M2M contemporary research on the validation and transmission of results obtained from multi-agent simulations.

Claudio Cioffi-Revilla

Claudio Cioffi-Revilla is Professor of Computational Social Science at George Mason University, where he is the founding director of the Center for Social Complexity. He is interested in agent-based simulation, complexity theory, and other computational approaches to long-term social science research areas, such as war and peace, origins or emergence of government, and evolution of the international system. He is a member of ESSA, EXYSTENCE, and NAACSOS, and during 2006-2007 served at the US Department of State as a Jefferson Science Fellow of the US National Academy of Sciences.

J. Gary Polhill

Gary Polhill did a degree in Artificial Intelligence and a PhD in Neural Networks before spending 18 months in industry as a professional programmer. Since 1997 he has been working at the Macaulay Institute on agent-based modelling of land use and related systems. He is interested in complex systems, social dilemmas, spatially-explicit modelling, and best practice in agent-based modelling, programming and design.
