These papers resulted from a discussion at RASTA'02 (International Workshop on Regulated Agent-Based Social Systems: Theories and Applications).

1. Bruce Edmonds' paper: "How Formal Logic Can Fail to be Useful for Modelling or Designing MAS";
2. Frank Dignum and Liz Sonenberg's reply: "A Dialogical Argument for the Usefulness of Logic in MAS".
3. and finally Bruce Edmonds' short response to Frank and Liz's reply: "Comments on A Dialogical Argument for the Usefulness of Logic in MAS".
