Rob Stocker completed degrees in education and computing and is a lecturer in Information Technology at Charles Sturt University. He is undertaking a PhD in Information Systems, supervised by Prof David Green and Prof Terry Bossomaier. His main research interests are in complexity, particularly in computational simulations of the structure and dynamics of social networks and communication in learning processes.

Prof. David Green completed two degrees in pure mathematics at Monash University, before undertaking a PhD in Canada on the forest history of Nova Scotia. In a research career spanning a quarter of a century he has applied computers to such diverse problems as starfish, bushfires, DNA, and mental health. In a brief career as a public servant he played a leading role in setting up the Environmental Resources Information Network in the early 1990s. He went on to establish Australia's first World Wide Web service. Since 1994 he has been Professor of Information Technology in the School of Information Technology at Charles Sturt University. His current work focuses on three main areas: complexity, Internet publishing, and environmental information. He is editor of the online research journal Complexity International and author of several books on the new field of complexity.

David Newth. Completed two degrees in Information Technology at Charles Sturt University , before undertaking a Ph.D. under the supervision of Professor David G. Green. In a short research career, he has applied computers to the study of theoretical biology, population dynamics, evolution, protein analysis and high-level programming languages.
