Alex Schmid is founder and managing director of Savannah Simulations, a company focused on the development and commercialization of simulation applications and tools. He holds a BA in philosophy from the University of Zurich and an MBA. His research interests are the philosophical meaning and implication of simulation for the philosophy of science in general and for epistemology in particular.
