Nuno David

Nuno David is a professor at the Instituto de Ciências do Trabalho e da Empresa (ISCTE), Lisbon, Portugal. He has a MSc in Computer Science and will finish his PhD from the University of Lisbon in September 2004. His main research interests are multiagent simulation, complex systems, and methodology and philosophy of Computer Science.

Maria Bruno Marietto

Maria Bruno Marietto is a professor of computer science at the Brazilian Institute of Advanced Studies. She received the Ph.D. degree in Computer Engineering (Artificial Intelligence) from the Instituto Tecnológico de Aeronáutica, Brazil, in 2000. Her current research focuses on modelling and simulation of collective behaviour, intelligent tutoring systems and the semantic web.
