Andre Costopoulos is currently a Research Associate at McGill University's Department of Anthropology. He spent summer 2001 as a Visiting Researcher at the AHRB Centre for the Evolutionary Analysis of Cultural Behaviour (UCL, Institute of Archaeology). He recently completed 2 years as visiting Assistant Professor (Anthropology) at Eastern Connecticut State University. He is currently developing tools for the modelling and simulation of the emergence of social complexity in middle-range sedentary societies. He is also actively researching the Early Metal Age of Northern Fennoscandia, the modelling of prehistoric exchange networks, and the survival strategies of the urban homeless in North America.
