Jen Badham is a Research Fellow at the Centre for Research in Social Simulation (CRESS) in the School of Social Sciences, University of Surrey. Originally trained as an applied mathematician, Jen became interested in using models and simulations to assist in making policy decisions, particularly concerning the health system. Her recent research concerns the effect of communication during influenza epidemics, and how the structure of a social group affects the behaviour of processes that occur over that group.
