Ismail Saglam is a Professor of Economics at Ipek University since August 2013. He received his B.Sc. degree in Electrical Engineering, and M.A. and Ph.D. degrees in Economics from Bilkent University. He also worked as a full-time faculty at Bogazici University (1998-2007) and TOBB University of Economics and Technology (2008-2013), and visited the University of Michigan (1997), Princeton University (1997-1998), Bilkent University (2005) and Massachusetts Institute of Technology (2006-2007). He is an Associate Member of the Turkish Academy of Sciences since 2012. His research focuses on game theory, economic theory, and monetary general equilibrium theory.
