Stefania Bandini

Stefania Bandini is Full Professor and Director of the Complex Systems and Artificial Intelligence research Centre at the University of Milano-Bicocca. Her research activity concerns Cellular Automata (CA), Artificial Intelligence, Knowledge Based Systems and Discrete Dynamical Systems. She published more than 90 papers in international journals and conferences, being the Editor of Special issues on CA of International Journals, Conference Proceedings and books. She has participated and directed several research projects, on applications of CA and Multi-Agent Systems and on the development of knowledge based applications supporting experts in design and decision making activities.

Sara Manzoni

Sara Manzoni is Assistant Professor at the University of Milano-Bicocca and member of the Complex Systems and Artificial Intelligence research Centre. Her research interests include Knowledge Based Systems and modelling and simulation of complex systems according to Cellular Automata (CA) and Multi-Agent Systems (MAS) approaches. She published more than 50 papers in international journals and conferences. Currently she is involved in research projects for the development of modelling and software tools for CA and situated MAS design and implementation, and in projects with industrial partner for the design and development of knowledge based applications.

Giuseppe Vizzari

Giuseppe Vizzari is Assistant Professor at the University of Milano-Bicocca and member of the Complex Systems and Artificial Intelligence research Centre. His research interests are mainly focused on Multi-Agent Systems and distributed Artificial Intelligence, Knowledge Based Systems and computer applications in cultural heritage management. He published more than 40 papers in international journals and conferences. He is currently involved in research projects for the development of modelling and software tools for situated MAS design and implementation, and in cultural resources management projects in collaboration with archaeologists.
