Xiong Linping is a PhD student of economics at National Center for Social and Economic Modeling (NATSEM), University of Canberra, Australia, commenced in March 2005. The title of proposed research is 'Medical Insurance Reform in China and its Influence on Socio-Economic Status of Urban Employees'. He got Postgraduate Research Scholarship for PhD study from University of Canberra in 2005. In 1997, he got doctor degree of Health Statistics in Fourth Military Medical University, China. In 1991, he got master degree of Applied Mathematics in Xi'an Jiaotong University, Shaanxi, China. In 1985, he got Bachelor of Applied Mathematics in Shaanxi Normal University, Shaanxi, China.
