Edmund Chattoe is a research fellow in the Department of Sociology at the University of Surrey and Associate Director of the Centre for Research on Simulation in the Social Sciences (CRESS). He is interested in economic and sociological applications of computer simulation, and in particular to the role which selection processes can play in social organisation. He is currently working on an EU project which involves simulations of the role of social influence in the financial decision making of farmers.
